Disability Equality Role at Bristol City Council

Bristol City Council are seeking somebody with direct experience of disability, a good understanding of the Disabled people’s movement and the social model of disability for the role of Inclusive Community Facilitator-Disability Equality.

The aim of the role is to increase social action and self-determination focusing on the most excluded communities.

Working from a social model of disability perspective, the role is to take positive action to establish a network of Disabled people and Disabled people-led community groups and organisations and community connectors to facilitate effective and trusted communication with the Council.

It is a full time, permanent role paying £29,777-£32,076 a year.
