Complex Needs

Holiday play scheme for Disabled children and young people with complex needs or challenging behaviour

What we do

C&YP Logo

We provide sessions during the school holidays for children and young people aged 5-18. The services caters for those Children and Young People who have complex medical needs and/or display challenging behaviour.

We are highly experienced in managing children with complex or challenging needs, and providing fun and engaging activities to help them develop as individuals. This service is well suited for those who attend Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools, and can give children a chance to have fun whilst giving parents a break from caring responsibilities during the school holidays.

Our sessions are delivered by WECIL – the only provider equipped with the specialist support required to cater for these children’s needs. Disabled children can also use their Direct Payments to access the Direct Payment service that runs alongside Holiday Short Breaks. However, this would need to be discussed with your Direct Payment Worker at Bristol City Council.
