WECIL’s Children and Young People’s Services department is incredibly proud to be part of the Ignite Bristol Multi-Sport Festival – a celebration of inclusive sport that brings together Disabled young people from across our city to try out a wide range of accessible activities.
Hosted by Access Sport and the Ignite Bristol network, this year’s festival was the biggest yet, held at Oasis Academy in South Bristol. The event gave local Disabled people the chance to explore the many inclusive sporting opportunities available in their community – from cycling to martial arts, and everything in between.
We know how vital accessible sport and play are for building confidence, friendships, and wellbeing. That’s why WECIL is committed to inclusive youth services that centre the needs and voices of Disabled young people.
