Overlaying the background is bold white text that reads: “EXPERIENCES OF DISABLED PEOPLE FROM GLOBAL MAJORITY BACKGROUNDS.” The design creates a visually striking and uplifting tone, drawing attention to the focus on inclusion and community for Disabled people from Black and racialised groups.
A graphic features the phrase “WE ARE THE PEOPLE” in bold, uppercase yellow letters, set inside a solid purple circle. The background outside the circle is bright yellow.
We Are The People

are inviting Disabled people to take part in an exciting research project!

The research project will focus on art and creative writing.

hree people are standing together in a community setting. On the left, a man is seated in a power wheelchair, smiling and wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. In the centre, a woman is standing, wearing a purple cardigan and a floral skirt. On the right, a man in a suit jacket and tie is smiling with his hands in his pockets. Behind them, there is a tree, a residential house, and a large historic building, possibly a cathedral. The background is digitally edited and stylised.

The research project will focus on creating a strong community, challenging colonial practices, and use ideas about treating disabled equally.

Colonial practices are the things done by one group or country to control and take over another group or country.
