This is your chance to hear directly from the electoral candidates running for Bristol Central, engage in a lively discussion, ask your questions, and understand their visions for a more inclusive future. Your vote is powerful— make it count by making an informed decision.
- There will be BSL interpretation, live captioning and Personal Assistants available at the event.
- The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and has a hearing loop.
- A quiet area will be provided.
- Assistance dogs and emotional support animals are welcome.
The event will also be live-streamed on YouTube.
Registration is from 11am. A light lunch will be provided and you will have a chance to meet other attendees. The candidates will take to the stage for the Election Hustings at 12 noon and finish at 1.30 pm.

Getting there
The Hustings will be held at the Lantern Hall, Bristol Beacon, Trenchard Street, Bristol, BS1 5AR.
Transport
Most bus services to central Bristol stop in and around the city centre promenade, 250m from Bristol Beacon.
Drop off and Disabled Parking
The nearest Disabled parking is in Tenchard Street car park. A lay-by for drop-off with a dropped curb is immediately outside Bristol Beacon on Colston Street.
Accessibility
The event will be held on the first floor in the Lantern room, accessible by lift. (There are three lifts)
There is level access from Colston Street or Trenchard street with automatic doors.
Accessible toilet facilities are available on all floors and signposted throughout the building. A changing-places accessible toilet is available on the venue’s Lower Ground Floor.
Disabled parking

All assistance dogs are welcome across our venue and in all our performance spaces. Our staff are trained to know how to behave around working dogs. Please ask if there’s anything we can do to help.
