In 2021-2022, Disabled people in Bristol collaborated to create a community climate action plan. This plan outlines actions to ensure climate initiatives in Bristol improve rather than harm the lives of Disabled people. The plan is available to read here, where there are also Easy Read and BSL versions of the plan and an explanation video.
Now, Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership, is undertaking work led by Climate and Disability Programme Associate Emma Geen to help bring this plan to life and they are looking for eight Disabled people to help do this.
No expertise in climate change is required, just an interest in the issues.
What You’ll Do:

- Engage in two hours of preparatory work before each meeting.

- Help update the climate action plan and share insights with the UK Government, local council, and other groups.
